It is a small beach located on the coast of Oaxaca. For years its older sisters, Mazunte and Zipolite, have hoard all the attention of visitors, that’s why we decided to stay here. The daily life of the inhabitants of San Agustinillo begins every morning when fishermen go out to sea and return at dawn with fresh fish and seafood. Mornings pass with greetings between neighbors and dogs lying in the shade of the palapas. The sea, always there, comes and goes with its thunderous waves that at dusk become the surfers play area. Every night the stars give us a different show, to remind us of the immensity of the universe.
Rainy season is very short, so we enjoy 345 sunny days with an average temperature of 30º C and a refreshing breeze. During your walks on the main street dressed in palapa´s little roofs, you will find small restaurants with explosive and fresh flavors, a small store of Oaxaca crafts and a beautiful mangrove that we all protect as a nature reserve. We also have 1 km of beach divided into 3 bays where you can enjoy a great wave to surf or a quiet moment of relaxation.
